The Laid Back Software TSO Environment and Administration Manager was originally developed for use in the Amdahl Corporation (now Fujitsu Technology Solutions, Inc.) Corporate Computer Center. With the closing of that Data Center, it is being made available by its author to other installations.
The Laid Back TSO Environment and Administration Manager is designed to increase the usability of TSO. It does this by allowing the TSO User to alter the TSO environment without the involvement of a TSO Administrator or Systems Programmer. Many facilities that were previously available only to batch jobs are made available to the TSO User. At the same time, MVS System Integrity is maintained.
A Product Profile on the TSO Environment and Administration Manager was published in the October/November, 2004 z/Journal Magazine.
